A salute to old school analog technology! They just don’t make them now like they used to.

This is a fabulous find from the 1950s, when no man’s suit was complete without a tie clip, accessorizing the silk tie, while at the same time anchoring it securely to the dress shirt. This piece would have been most likely handed out to male management employees at the time. The logo, featuring an analog rotary dial tabletop telephone, is rendered in cloisonné and then struck onto the gold tone tie bar.West Coast Telephone was a smaller company that eventually was absorbed into Ma Bell, aka AT&T (American Telephone & Telegraph / The Bell System).And it’s a genuine Balfour, one of the premier men’s jewelry manufacturers of the time.This is an exquisitely detailed piece, and has interesting character of it’s own that you will not see anywhere else. This piece was US made, at a time when it was created with pride and is of much higher quality than most current manufacture. This piece has been around for over 60 years, still looks this good & most likely has an interesting backstory too.

This a terrific gift for any retro enthusiast or telephone memorabilia collector. Definitely a conversation piece & a terrific addition to anyone’s wardrobe. They will want to wear it every day!
